An avid record collector of 15 years, photographer, and a purveyor of beat music since the late 90s, Hobo D hails from Austin, TX and is currently living in South Korea teaching English and traveling the globe. Created Applied Pressure (Austin, TX) in 2011 to help bring the beat oriented electronic/non electronic music to more of a forefront for Texas. Applied Pressure has hosted a slew of artists such as Prefuse 73, Jonwayne, Sons of The Morning, Gaslamp Killer, Gonjasufi, Mophono, Shigeto, Dam Funk, Com Truise, B. Lewis, Low Limit, Devonwho, Nosaj Thing, Daedelus, Dnae Beats, Sonnymoon, Rustie, etc……
A long time fan/collector/purveyor of that deep, raw, and psychedelic sound with a heavy passion for the drums, this mix crafts together about 55 artists he feels encapsulate that timeless sound and vibe spanning from the 1960’s till today.
